Donations from Friends and Family For Orphanage

Thanks to our friends, family and Calebs family we were able to make an extra donation for Sophie Wei's orphanage (see below names.)

After our gotcha moments, etc. We were then talking about our money that friends gave us for donations and Calebs family too.

They said we could go shopping but their car that they have is only having one "MISSION" right now and that is the earthquake relief.

They also said that they need so much due to the earthquake, etc.
They said that if we really wanted to we could go shopping but it would be difficult for us to get the goods back and I was sensing that they just needed the money. Our guide said that they are very trust worthy and that I could go up stairs and get a receipt.

So we talked and felt this was the best thing to do for the children. It just felt right.

Once up stairs I asked for them to write a receipt for all of our Prune Hill Teacher friends, us and for Calebs family.

Here is the gift that our teacher friends gave us. They collected money in a baby bottle for the orphanage and Jan & Julie put money together with hair pretties and bows. So cute and giving.

Thanks, Jan M., Julie M., Ann G., Pat E., Sherry L., Alona and Alan D., Mary Jo C., Susie H., Patti L., Becky S., Jessica C., Mandy M., Christy C., Roxanne D., Sharon R., Diane U..
I would also like to thank one of my students and her family for a donation for the orphanage: Rachel R. and Family.
We would also like to thank Calebs family for a large donation: James and Margaret S., Julia and Andy S. & Children. This is the new stroller that we got compliments of the fifth grade team! We love it and while traveling her when Simone was walking we threw our backpacks in it. It is AWESOME and well worth the money and light weight.
