More Thunder and Lightening

After our big Thunder and Lightening Show we went out side to do some more shopping. Here is Simone in the White Swan next to some of their sculptures that they have sitting out. She loves this frog.

Simone also wanted me to take a picture of her next to this horse.

Simone went to sleep on Rick's shoulders while we were out. So when we got back we put her to bed and then Rick put Sophie to bed. A good ending to a Happy Fathers Day with both of his girls!!

Last time we were in China with Simone it was my first Mothers Day. Now Rick is spending his Fathers Day with both of his girls!!

When we arrived back to our room we found our room all ready for bed as we do every evening. The girls love to say Hello to the same girl every night. Not only does she straighten up our room, she brings us a little bowl with two chocolates in it (the girls love to play with the bowl.), she makes our beds and arranges the girls baby dolls and blankets. I could get use to this :)

Here is what the little note says that comes with the chocolates:
"The White Swan Hotel is set on the edge of Shamian Island. Originally a beach on the Peral River facing the White Goose Pool, Shamian was separated from the mainland in the Qing Dynasty and turned into an island which overlooks the River on one side and has the city as its back on the other."

We also were surprised with our Traditional Matel Barbie. It is a Mom Barbie, with blond hair holding a small little dark haired baby.

Also wanted to say Happy Fathers Day to my Dad, my father in law Rick!
